Puur arose spontaneously when I was sitting behind the piano one late evening, musing about the past day. The felt between the strings and the hammers of the old Dutch Rippen piano provides a pleasant soft sound. The most beautiful music is created when I'm not thinking, or even when I'm reading a book behind the piano. My hands then find their way naturally, not hindered by my busy judgmental head.
